La Isla Mujeres!

Jannelle and I have just returned from Isla Mujeres where we got to do several things I didn't think we would ever do.
First I'll say that I never expected to get Jannelle on a boat. but today we spent about 3 hours sailing to and from the island on a wonderful catamaran. it was about 25' long, and drinks were free!! then, even after getting Jannelle on the boat, SHE suggested that we sit all the way in the front with our feet dangling in the water. it was on netting.... you could see the water beneath us. It was very nice. after about an hour of sailing, and a reapplication of sun screen, we got to the island were we were able to go snorkeling. It was a so so time thanks to the extreme saltiness and running sunscreen in our eyes. what time we were able to open our eyes, and that they weren't burning, was nice.

I have just booked a trip to chichen Itza for tomorrow. 7am to 7pm. it will be a long day.

time to go assess the damages to our skin.

PS, I had free range iguana today!

Hola Todos!

Buenas Dias y Hola!
Jannelle I arrived yesterday on time, and were shuttle to the hotel were we have settled in. www.casamaya.com . We spent some time in the pool yesterday, and this morning, and haven't gotten severly burned yet. Tomorrow, following today's scuba class in the pool, we will be going to La Isla Mujers for scuba and snorkling on the reef. Currently we are planning on heading to ChichenItza on wednesday, and Xcaret on Friday.
We both slept wonderfully last night, for the first time a few weeks, and are relaxing. Thanks to everyone for making our wedding so wonderful!
My Spanish is coming back at a suprising rate...
Buena Suerte, y Hasta Luego!
