yo

Hey everyone. How're things?

the saturday before our anniversary, Jannelle let me go to indy for the USGP round 3 practice, and qualifying. it was the first time seeing F1 cars in person. Awesome.... on the trip i had the pleasure of running into 2 of my favorite people from Sofo's. I knew Frank Lazzaro and Phil Flores would be there, but I never imagined I would run into them. I think the saturday turn-out was record-breaking, so running into 2 specific people was pretty unlikely. It was very nice catching up with them and the happenings at Sofo Foods.

We saw Transformers last Monday. We were all pretty entertained. I only had a few gripes really, but then again, I didn't going into the movie expecting much more than a CGI orgasm of action.

found this, and thought it was pretty entertaining. This guy is pretty talented.

On the 4th, I spent most of the day doing dirty garage guy stuff with Greg. They finally got power run to the garage! 60Amps of lovin! The compressor works like a charm! We swapped out the suspension on Greg's 91 BMW 325i. We had other things we wanted to take care of too, LCAs, removal of the Power-Steering, bushings... but we just didn't have time. the usual problems came up... stuck nuts, cross-threaded bolts. I was really sore after sitting on the ground all day wrenching, perhaps I'm getting too old. I hope not, there's plenty of work to be done on the Galloway fleet. Friday or Saturday we're taking on a wheel bearing on the Hyundai.

In the middle of August Jannelle and I are moving into the Swindon house in Mt.Lookout. Pat has taken a 12-18 month contract, through work, for a job in Leeds, England. Pat left this past Saturday, and Jamie leaves early August. Best of luck to them, and thanks for the house. J and I are really looking forward to the move. We like our current location, but have lots of problems with our apt. It will be nice to have a house, and not a mortgage!

Work is going well. there are definitely some things that don't mesh with long-term carear goals. more about that some other time.
