Cincy Living situation
Here I am at work, anticipating another free lunch, killing my time. It's nice to know you'll be missed. I'm sure gonna miss a lot of people here too. There was even some crying today from a few people. How flattering.. I pretty much have everything wrapped up here. I just need to document a few things. I don't know what I'm going to do for the next 2 days.. Maybe nothing, but then again how is that different than what I was doing before.
The current news on the Cincy living situation is discouraging. The stupid lady at that shity apt complex rented the apt out from under me the same day she took my money for application. I knew that my application didn't guarantee anything, but she new my situation, intentions, and didn't mention that anyone else was interested in the place. And for crying out loud, the place was being cleaned still when we looked at it. Sometime between 2:30-3 when I left the office and 5 she apparently rented it out. I called her back and asked if she had another 1 bedroom available, " Not right now, dear. You want me to call you if something comes up?" SO, as far as I can surmise, I am going to have to come down AGAIN and look for another place. The good news is that I am done here on Friday and will have all next week to find a place and move. But that means I am going to come down, find a place, come back, find a truck and load it up, then drive down again. And then, I will still probably have to come back to BG to return the truck (usually a lot cheaper to do 2-way and not 1-way). Maybe this is a blessing. I mean, I really was questioning my decision to live there. It wasn't the nicest place, and the people weren't that great either. I kinda felt like I was settling for it.... oh well, I just don't want to take all the trouble to find *another* place that will take on a 4 month lease in my price range.
EDIT :::: Oh yeah.... I am going to go see Hotel Rwanda tonight with Jannelle. I'm looking forward to it..

Wow. Sorry to hear about all that junk, eh. Are you going to be able to make it to my place on Saturday? I sure hope so...
Have a meaningful time with Hotel Rwanda. Anne and I saw it 2 weeks ago. Just keep telling yourself it is true--because it was. If that movie does not change the way you feel about the world then there is something wrong with you. I certainly had tears coming to my eyes. Before you watch it, google "tutsi hutu" and read a cultural history.
