Halo Music

Despite all the hype back in the day, I never dedicated much time playing Halo. As soon as Microsoft bought Bungie and the project was diverted to XBox, I lost interest. One thing, however, about all Bungie products that shines brightly are their original scores. The music in every Bungie game I have ever played (Oni, Myth, Myth II, Halo, Marathon) has been spectacular. I've become a dork for Video Game music, and bands covering old game music (Generic, Minibosses, MetroidMetal...) I ran across this jewel on Ananadtech.com, a tech forum I frequent. Once you accept the guitar using all kinds of digital processing it's pretty sweet. Enjoy...

Comments:
Huh. It is cool, but I wonder if they ever get to play out. Could you imagine going to Howards on a Friday night and hearing the theme from Halo or Mega Man X? Actually, that might be kind of cool--as long as one considers that it instantly would drive all the ladies out (except for the one playing violin).
That, and music like this usually only has a cover of 25c.
